for this unit, we had to take a garment from a known designer and remake it ourselves, and then design a small collection based on the visual language of the designer we chose.

for my remake, i picked a wrap skirt by Charlie Constantinou.

module - developing practice 2

in developing practice 2, we had the choice of following one of three briefs; i chose regenerative fashion futures (experimenting with recycled materials and regenerative processes).

i was inspired by goth and club kid cultures in london during the 1980s (Leigh Bowery, early John Galliano, Pam Hogg, Judy Blame etc.), and wanted to experiment with tailoring techniques.
